Nine Months! WOOHOO!

The hot boyfriend and I have reached the nine month mark... our relationship continues down the awesomeness path:)
Congrats to Ames for tenure...and for the position AP English teacher next fall. I'm so very proud of you:)!!

Two Very Different Cakes

This past weekend we delivered these--- the polka dots went to the Magnolia, the elegant one down to Manitou Springs. It was fun working on two very different styles; the personalities of the couples came through for sure!

A very fun birthday cake

I had the pleasure of making this fun birthday cake for a woman who has survived cancer. Her friends and family had planned a big "5-0" party last year, but her diagnosis changed all that. This year she's doing great and it was party time!
The cake featured 51 chocolate candles, lots of funky swirls around the pink ribbon and a couple of furry pals; she works with animal rescue.
I hope she had a wonderful party!
